Export Compliance Daily combines U.S. export control news, foreign border import regulation and policy developments into a single daily information service that reliably informs its trade professional readers about important current issues affecting their operations.

The renewals are included in Section 7812 of the FY 2025 National Defense Authorization Act, which President Joe Biden signed into law Dec. 23.

The Uyghur law directs the president to sanction Chinese officials responsible for atrocities against Uyghurs, while the Hong Kong law requires the president to sanction Chinese and Hong Kong officials responsible for human rights violations in Hong Kong (see 2406060064 and 2406070004).
