State Dept. Approves Military Sales to Ecuador, Philippines, Kuwait
The State Department approved three possible military sales to Ecuador, the Philippines and Kuwait, the Defense Security Cooperation Agency said last week.

The sale to Ecuador includes $64 million worth of M4A1 rifles and "related elements of logistics and program support." The principal contractor hasn't yet been chosen.
The Philippines could get $5.58 billion in F-16 aircraft and related items. The principal contractor will be Lockheed Martin.
The sale to Kuwait includes $400 million worth of equipment and services to upgrade and recertify its Patriot missiles. The principal contractor will be RTX Corp.
